My Millie seems to be getting more and more less tolerant of the other cats. Even her sister gets swatted at when she walks by. Well, last night we brought Cora down into the living room and she didn't hide when she saw the other cats. As a matter of fact she played, played, and played! She's still down here, hiding, but at least she's starting to socialize a bit more. It's been around four months now, maybe by next year she'll be a confident member of the "herd." read more

I've written before about how I brought in two TNR cats that I had been taking care of. They aren't true ferals--just scared strays. Anyway, Rhett is doing great. Well, it seems that the night time is when things get crazy, so I'll have to keep Rhett and Cora in their room. My normally sweet, ever-so-friendly Frank was just attacking poor Cora last night. I guess I thought everyone would adapt so much faster because Fletcher was accepted into the herd after about three weeks (if that)! I'm not giving up. read more

This morning things got a little crazy. Frank and Rhett suddenly started fighting. It was over almost as soon as it started, but it was very unnerving. I thought we were making such great progress. Cora is still staying in her room :-( read more
