Delilah Gives us a Scare

I was at work and Jonathan called me on Friday with the news that no mom wants to hear. Mama, where is Delilah? I ask him what he is talking about and he says well, I have looked everywhere and she is not here. I get him to explain everywhere and tell him a few more places to look. Samson is Found !

Well, it was a long weekend! Sunday, I scoured the neighborhood, I made posters, I talked to neighbors, I cried, I prayed, I worried. On Monday, I called the pound. No, they didn't have any dogs that looked like my dog or they hadn't picked up any dogs in my community over the weekend. I went to church and I prayed a selfish prayer. Samson is Missing!

Is this not the worse thing a pet owner can face? Saturday morning he was here. He was fine. I fed the dogs. He was on the porch when I gave him his joint supplements, fed him and gave him a treat. I got Riley, bathed him and took Riley to the vet. When I got home, Samson was here, I left again, went to Elkin, ran some errands and when I came home, it was raining. I didn't see Samson.
