Well, call me crazy, but I got another puppy. She is a pit bull mix. I named her Delilah and she is showing herself to be very intelligent. I took her to the vet yesterday, she got her first shots and was wormed. She was born on March 13,2008, so she is just now 6 weeks old. She did well last night, didn't cry and didn't cry when she left her mom and siblings. She got her first bath because she was filthy and is now beautiful. Samson is Found !

Well, it was a long weekend! Sunday, I scoured the neighborhood, I made posters, I talked to neighbors, I cried, I prayed, I worried. On Monday, I called the pound. No, they didn't have any dogs that looked like my dog or they hadn't picked up any dogs in my community over the weekend. I went to church and I prayed a selfish prayer. Samson is Missing!

Is this not the worse thing a pet owner can face? Saturday morning he was here. He was fine. I fed the dogs. He was on the porch when I gave him his joint supplements, fed him and gave him a treat. Today I got up early, gave Riley a bath a good brushing and took him to the vet. Riley loves to ride and was very happy to do so. My vet is over 20 miles away so Riley really enjoyed the adventure. Upon arriving at the vet, Riley went woah, I have been here before and strained against his leash and tried to go the other way. I laughed as we went inside. I love my dogs and would truly like to have more than I do, but then I feel guilty now that I don't always have enough time to spend with the ones that I have. Samson is so loving.
