John called me on his way into Houston this past thursday morning to say there was a beagle in the middle of the road, been hit. He could not stop, but I flew into some clothes and went down the road, onto the busy road, slowed down, as I knew exactly where to look, and there she was. She had gotten to the side of the road. It is just about time to go outside, burr, and sort the horses out for the evening. I am so glad I put their blankets back on. even the dogs don't really want to go outside. Last day for the competition and I have really enjoyed doing this and seeing that there are some many caring folks out there. That lifts my spirits. read more
