So annie gets chained up even though we have a fenced in yard. She was a runaway and I am afraid that if we dont chain her up she will find a way to bolt from the yard. So annie had a big test today. they checked her for heart worm. Her test came back all clear. I started her on heart guard....actually its a generic one. I didnt know they had generics for pet meds now too. I was happy to get it cheaper. Now I have some piece of mind and she can hang outside all summer long if she wants. read more

I love it when the air is cool. Its nice not being uncomfortable on my walks with annie. I need to take advantage of nights like these before the heat of summer comes. Annie and I are loving the nicer weather. I am not going to go as far and say its nice out....but its getting there. I think tomorrow I may leave her in the back yard for the afternoon. I was just thinking I need to get her in to get tested for heartworm and then get her on that medicine. I need to get that done before skeeter weather comes. read more

we are back and it is good news i guess. no worms or anything in her anal gland. The vet put her on allergy meds to see if it helps. It would be just my luck to have a dog with allergies. At least its not worms. read more
