Pet Shelter Make Over Coming to an End

I have gotten my heart into this a little too much I think, or maybe not. I truly am praying day and night that God's grace will shine upon the HSMC Ohio. I know I have said this to a couple of different people at the shelter, but I can not think of a more deserving crowd. I have adopted 2 dogs from them and helped out a bit with some volunteering. Maybe this isn't such a bad thing

Whitney has a new life to her and its great. Since Lydia (the real baby) came she had gotten put on the back burner big time. Even though she is excellent with the baby, you could tell she was depressed. Since we decided to get another dog to keep her company and finally brought Tisha home, we have seen a completely different side of her. it's like she's a puppy all over again! Over the Easter holiday we had about 10-15 people at our house for dinner. This is the first time we have had ANY company since adopting Tisha (we live as hermits!haha). She was so good! She, of course, got super excited when everyone started showing up but once she said her "hello" to everyone, she calmed down and was very well behaved. Struggling

It has been 3 weeks now that we have had Tisha, and she is just a doll baby! But, we are having our struggles. She is not understanding the whole "go potty outside thing", she is constantly trying (and succeeding) at getting hand outs from Lydia during snack time, and she refuses to stay off of the furniture. So, I think Whitney thinks we have lost our minds. Not only did we bring a real live kicking and screaming human baby into the house a year ago, now here we are bringing home a PUPPY!?
