Simba and the laser pointer!

Simba loves to play with the laser pointer and I love to watch him! When I am not pointing it, he sits on the floor, waiting for me to play with him. He jumps up the wall, then runs after the red point. Sometimes he bats at it and I move it as if he has pushed it away. He will run from one end of the house to the other, turn on a dime and return to chase the point of light! He gives me so many laughs! read more

Shadow is my inspirartion

About 6 weeks ago we began a program at work called "Shape Up the Nation" for physical fitness. I began to take Shadow for a walk every noontime after lunch to get into an exercise routine. Now, he is my inspiration! As soon as I eat my last bite of food, he runs to the door, back to me and then barks, as if to say, "come on mom!" Even on days when I have not wanted to go for a walk, I have gone because he gets so excited! read more

Our SPCA

I love animals. Otherwise, I would probably not be part of zootoo. Our SPCA is a non-kill agency, for which I am very grateful. Our dog, Shadow, came from there originally. I would not hesitate returning for another pet. The people there truelty love the little critters they care for. My partner and I are kind of silent supporters, bringing supplies they put on their website as needing. People are always very gracious and friendly when we deliver the items.
