It was definitely a good thing that I stayed away from the shelter yesterday because I went through a box and a half of Puffs Ultra while I read magazines and watched forensics shows. Now I've developed a deep hacking cough that does nothing, but it's still probably to the doctor tomorrow. Yuck. read more

The cat's body was gone by the time I got home from work last night. I suspect that the owners must have realized that their cat hadn't come home and went out looking. It's funny looking back and realizing that I have spent the past 7 1/2 years of my life as a shelter volunteer (8 if I count the rescue work with CPP).
