According to my dad, Guffy's vet is calling her a "miracle dog" since she's stabilized with the steroids, phenobarbitol, and incontinence meds enough that she seems like her normal self. Most dogs probably would have died relatively quickly after the cluster seizures since they had weakened her body so much. I know that Guffy had bloodwork done… read more

Guffy's prognosis isn't great, but it could be worse. She's doing better thanks to the steroid that she's on, but she's still very weak from the cluster seizures on Sunday night.
