Will never understand why a wonderful dog like Webster sits in a shelter for months without being adopted? Here is a handsome, well behaved, wonderful dog with nothing going against it except that it is a pit bull. I hope that someone takes him home soon and realizes that he is one of the best dogs out there. read more

Had a good day with Mary and Mike at the adoption event at Citibank in Bayonne. Chickpea was a handful but just as cute as could be. Webster was the perfect gentleman and really gave a great impression, especially to those wary of pit bulls. So, with the high winds today, the concrete wall outside the shelter collapsed! Thank God no animal or person was there but there was slight damage to a car. The wall is totally destroyed. Again, just so lucky no one ws there. read more

If you are a big dog lover (or vice versa) can you ever become a small dog lover (or vice versa)?? I have always been drawn to very large dogs. I like small dogs and they often put a smile on my face, but I am not sure I could ever own a very little dog. Thoughts? read more
