Sitting here watching a segment on the 11 p.m. news about shelters seeing an increase in the number of surrenders and also experiencing less adoptions and donations - all due to what is happening in the financial arena. On Sunday, September 21, over 350 dog owners and their dogs came out to enjoy a beautiful day at Liberty State Park overlooking the Statue of Liberty, Ellis Island and the NYC skyline.
