The fourth of July, Independence Day, A day of freedom from tyranny... And also the day Aegir was finally accepted into the Peyton Place household. My wife Betty has informed me she wants to bring home another doggie. His (currrent) name is Godfrey. He is a chocolate lab. He a true chocolate not a "milk chocolate" as we call our boy Hrothgar. Betty and I returned home yesterday from our excursion to Florida. As soon as we opened the door the howling, barking, screaming began. We were a little afraid to open their kennels as they were in full "Fruit Loop" mode. We left town last Saturday and got home on Friday. I get to travel quite frequently with my work and of course as the Doggie Transport Guy I get around all over as well. I love to travel but sure do miss home while gone. Usually I'm traveling alone but on this trip Betty and I are together. We don't get away together too often, our schedules don't mesh well most of the time.
