The first phase of the Shelter Makeover will be ending in a couple of days. The STHS has fallen to 2nd place after maintaining the lead for weeks. I now personally how badly the shelter is in need of the makeover. Built in the 1950's, has helped thousands of animals through adoptions and vet care. The St. Tammany Humane Society in Covington Lousisana is second at this time in the $1,000,000,000.00 Makeover. The shelter could really use this makeover since the facility is about 50 years old.
