Jackson is back at home... And I am so pleased at what a beautiful job the vet did for her. My family is still deciding what to do with her ashes, but the box that she is in is so beautiful and it has a name plaque. It's hard to believe that it has been a week since Jackson died. It was a hard first 2 days, but I am surprised at how quiet and calm my heart has become... not healed, but not as raw. I can sense that Lily is sad about losing Jackson... and Jackson has been at our house the entire time Lily has, so she has only known us with Jackson.
