Shelters need more than dog walkers

How many of us heard people say " I would like to help out the shelter but I don't have the time". There is so much you can do to help the animals. Every shelter in America pretty muchs live on donations. Whether that donation is time , money, food, blankets, etc. When your out shopping for your pet just buying an extra bag of treats or a small bag of dog or cat food can help. I don't understand

I belong to a couple of rescue groups here in Savannah. The other day I sent one of my groups an email telling about zootoo and how we can post our events on here for free. I got an email back telling me that we (our group) does their postings of events where they feel it appropiate and not on every website that pops up. I thought that was little strange.
