I am writing this the morning after. I told someone that I felt like I had just been through 3 months of labor, have delivered the baby but don't know yet whether its a boy or a girl. But what I do know is that no matter what shelter is selected to win the grand prize, we've won. The Humane Society of Parkersburg won today! Penelope's Story

Penelope was a 12 year old cat that was dumped at our shelter. She came to my home after a year or so as our office cat. Her health was obviously failing and I didn't want her last days to be in the shelter....no matter how much they cared for her and loved. So she spent her last months with me and our family here.
