Bonnie Rose & Cecil are campaigning for YOUR V…

Hi this is Bonnie Rose and Cecil. We are the furbabies of clslay. She drives us crazy with all the picture taking. We know she loves us alot though. We are trying to get votes for this contest she entered us in. We have been kisses babies, visiting with other furbabies giving speeches and passing out bumper stickers. Only problem no furbabies we know have cars! We would appreciate any vote we can get in the contests. Mum made a booboo and wasn't able to get our sisters picture in (Sevil… read more

IN DEATH SYMAN HELPS OTHER ANIMALS

SYMAN'S CARDIAC FUND Many of you read my journal about my dearly loved Syman the Siamese that I lost suddenly. It almost was my demise. Syman was not only one of the most beautiful Siamese,my vet even stated that but also the sweetest. His tail went on forever. He also was trained to sing "happy birthday", really I have it on old style tape. He was a great cat. When I was down and out he was always there to comfort me. Syman was a compassionate cat. The day his … read more

Love Offering...

Cecil and Seville have always been indoor cats since the day I adopted them.I have always caught moths and such to try to keep their hunting instincts intact. They love to catch flying bugs I release in the house. If they are really lucky a grasshopper or a cricket will enter through a doorway. All I have to do is yell "BUG!" and both run from where ever they are (even if in a deep sleep) to see what kind of goody Mum has found as they know the hunt is on. The only furbaby allowed… read more

I am Blessed by my furbabies....

As I sit here and look at my furbabies all sleeping, Cecil and Seville cuddled up as usual. Bonnie Rose next to me actually snoring away. I chuckle at how sweet they look yet am amazed at how blessed I am to have these babies in my life. To think back to the year 2002 when I made my weekly trip to donate food to my local shelter I never dreamed I would walk out that day with adoption papers in hand on Cecil and Seville. As I already had Syman. My dearly loved Siamese. I was just divorced, having… read more

Now I lay me down to sleep... do pets do this?

Cecil has always amazed us with his antics. Whenever we have our prayer prior to dinner he always puts a paw on me. We always hold hands in our household. We have wondered if it was his way of being with us. He seems to have learned many human ways, always sleeps with his head on a pillow. Wants to be covered with a blanket etc. Passing by he was almost asleep and I saw him in this position. Its a point to ponder do you ever wonder if pets ever say grace or prayer? This was just so odd to see him… read more
