Just heard from the Denver trip boys, and they are awaiting the evaluation of the dogs. It seems that JoJo and McDonald got into a fight with each other in the holding pen, so I guess JoJo is coming back "home." McDonald may accompany him. read more

The poor pit bull that survived the recent ice storm and who we picked up and brought to the Shelter has been adopted. His new name is Chekhov, so he is retaining some aura of intellectualism. Because some of our members were packing up for the Denver trip, we did not have our usual crowd at the March general meeting--so we got finished 10 minutes early. Had to rescue Joker today, as the neighbor's dog was after him. He probably could have handled the situation, but human intervention assured Joker's safety. read more

WE have our monthly meeting tomorrow night. Several of our principals won't be there because they will be packing a van for the trip to Denver. Looks like we'll mainly a social meeting. read more
