I am originally from WI, now living in KY. It amazes me every year when there is pretty much no spring. It goes from freezing your butt off to sweating your butt off. There seems to be no in between! The weather was nice enough the other day that me and the kids took all the dogs for a walk. A long walk. Raffy, who needs the exercise the most, was so exhausted at the half way mark. We ended up letting him ride in the stroller with the baby for a bit. We all had a good time. I can't wait for spring to get here! read more

WIth all this ice storm mess, we are still losing electricity. We have been more lucky than others though. Our power usually comes back on after 4-5 hours. Ivy, my iguana, is more than a little mad about all of this. When the power goes out, she loses her heat lamps in the deal. Talk about one cold, ticked off iguana. I hope the worse is over… read more
