Every time I think I'm going to get a cute picture of my animals they move! The other night my dog Casey and my cat Dundee were sleeping next to each other on my bed and I wanted to take a photo of it. The moment I moved Casey sat up and then Dundee got up and ran off. Casey is crazy, she loves the snow. She would much rather a snowy wintery day then a hot summer day. She goes nuts when her feet hit the snow. She will run in circles. When I shovel the driveway she will lay in the snow. I think she must have a tad of American Eskimo in her! read more

Today has been awful and rainy. Not a good day for walking dogs. Thank goodness for some of our dedicated staff who didn't let the rain get them down. They took the dogs for play groups up on the hill and made sure that every one of them got out for a walk. We are very lucky to have the people that we have! read more

The cutest thing is when I went to my desk on Christmas Eve and found presents for my dog from my co-workers here at Little Shelter. Being diabetic, Casey comes to work with me every day since I put in long hours and she needs her shots twice a day. She got a lovely new dog bed and toys. Such a spoiled girl! read more
