Three vets have told me that surgery is definitey possible for Charlie, but it is not without its risks. My old boy has some spunk left in him so we're going to go for it. Charlie's blood results came back today and he is in kidney failure. This adds to the confusion of what to do with him. Do I do the surgery, do I not do the surgery....what is best for my little old man???? read more

After psyching myself up for the worst case scenario last night Charlie's visit with the vet went better then expected. She said that she would attempt the surgery since it seems to be just hanging on by skin. She took blood today and then if that comes back ok the next step will be an echocardiogram.
