I know Louise cooked up a turkey to give to our shelter pooches today. I bet they are all enjoying it. Much better then their regular diet of dog food! LOL. read more

Happy Thanksgiving to all my animal loving friends. The biggest thing to be thankful is that there are so many of us out there willing to go to the ends of the earth to help animals in shelters that would otherwise be euthanized. I hope you all have a lovely day! read more

One of the great things about Little Shelter is the people that work here. When my Kit Kat got stuck in the candy machine, Mike and Arleen made it their mission to get it out, even if it meant buying a ton of other stuff to knock it out of its position. What can I say, they had a good time doing it, and had a lot to eat afterwards! read more

Little Shelter is going to be on an episode of Animal Planet for a new adoption series. They matched one of our dogs up with a family that was looking for that particular kind of dog, and they came out last Friday and filmed. It's going to be a while before it airs, as they still have more episodes to film, but it is very exciting! read more

Just got back from a walk with Casey and boy oh boy is it cold out there. If this is anything to go by, its going to be a long, cold winter. Of course while I was freezing my toes of, Casey wanted to stop and sniff where every other dog had been, and then leave her calling card. What we do for our pets eh! read more
