Every time I think I'm going to get a cute picture of my animals they move! The other night my dog Casey and my cat Dundee were sleeping next to each other on my bed and I wanted to take a photo of it. The moment I moved Casey sat up and then Dundee got up and ran off. Casey is crazy, she loves the snow. She would much rather a snowy wintery day then a hot summer day. She goes nuts when her feet hit the snow. She will run in circles. When I shovel the driveway she will lay in the snow. I think she must have a tad of American Eskimo in her! read more

I love to see adult cats being adopted. We get so many people come in looking for kittens, and not enough wanting the adults, so it makes my day when one goes home. Today we said goodbye to Daffy as she embarked on her new life with her new dad! read more

Boy oh boy we have so many things going on at Little Shelter. I sat with our director today to plan the events for the year and we have something going on every month, actually sometimes we have a couple of things going on in each month. It's going to be a lot of work, but so worth it because it will help us save more lives! read more

Last week we got a elderly Airedale from a city shelter that was turned in as a euthanasia request. Yesterday I got a call from the shelter saying that his owner was there to claim him.
