Well, the snow is starting to melt, and may not have too many more days to go sledding with my pups. I fell off the sled a few weeks ago, and boy did I hurt. The dogs love to pulll and it gives them quite a workout. read more

Big Al came home with this past Saturday and Otzi Whale is not amused. As a result Al is sequestered upstairs and in the process of learning the lay-out of the second floor. He's got the ins and outs of the bedroom down pat and is enjoying navigating the heaps and piles of art supplies in my studio. read more

Natty Bumppo's introduction to the St. Bernards went smoothly.After a round of sniffing that had me thinking Bumppo might have the entire novel War & Pace imbedded in his fur, the herd settled in for a snooze. Natty Bumppo and his littermates came to the Potsdam Humane Society as a 10 week old pups. They had been found in an abandoned building.
