Natty Bumppo never had an "accident" in the house.He took to the routine with amazing speed. We'd spend 15 min. each morning practicing basic manners- sits, downs... Natty Bumppo's introduction to the St. Bernards went smoothly.After a round of sniffing that had me thinking Bumppo might have the entire novel War & Pace imbedded in his fur, the herd settled in for a snooze. Natty Bumppo and his littermates came to the Potsdam Humane Society as a 10 week old pups. They had been found in an abandoned building.
