LHS has such cute dogs and cats right now - usually there are a few that attract attention, but now everywhere you look is a great dog or kitty. Webster is still there (who was wonderful at Liberty Science Center last week) as well as Buttercup and a host of adult cats and kittens. Please come by and find the love of your life! read more

Its wonderful when animals have been around for a while and finally make a connection with that person. We have had some long time residents get placed since the new year began and its gratifying to see them be able to start their new life with a family that will love them. read more

Sitting in the office minding the phones while shelter management is reviewing animals and evaluating for adoption. Its a good team, leaning on each other to get the job done. Adoptions have been at a good pace and we want to make sure that everyone that can be placed gets their green sign on their cage asap. read more

6 dogs and 5 more cats were adopted yesterday bringing the 2 day day total to 13 cats and 8 dogs. The weekend is not over yet so many a few more animals will be placed into new homes. This has been such a boost for all of us because we have been so crowded. Happy New Year it seems - at least starting off to a good start. read more
