The skies are falling. Goodness, the wind is unbelieveable. The dogs look like they were going to go airborne when they were out this morning. Driving was a bit scary as well. Got to work and Henry ran out and ran right back in. read more

This is the first day I don't feel a chill in the air. Its got that spring smell and feel. Henry and I might have to break out of hibernation and take a walk today. Its beautiful out there. read more

Thankfully Henry gets a lot of attention from the volunteers on weekends. Its hard to leave him on Fridays but I am fairly certain my home would not be the best match - though you never know. We shall see how he keeps doing but for now, couldn't ask for a healthier and happier dog to welcome me back to work read more

Henry spent time with staff today in the kitchen. He just loves the shelter and everyone in it. He has developed such a beautiful winter coat, he looks positively sleek. I said yesterday that its hard to imagine how he looked when he first came to us. read more

Its so cold today that Henry and I have the heater on just to keep the temperature a little more warm and toasty. He seems completely happy with the heater on - spread out on his bed and facing the source of the heat. Such a good old boy! read more
