My friend had an emergency room visit that took all day and into the night. She is fine! I babysat her daughter, took her to dance class, dinner, and we watched the Disney Channel. It took me back her busy motherhood can be when you have young children. Now the dogs and I are couch potatoes. read more

Its wonderful when animals have been around for a while and finally make a connection with that person. We have had some long time residents get placed since the new year began and its gratifying to see them be able to start their new life with a family that will love them. read more

Why would anyone drill a hole in the ice and sit on a bucket for hours on a lake in the middle of winter? Its like watching time stand still. I am not a big fan of fishing anyway but this...it makes no sense to me. read more

Its been a really long week at work but lots of animals have been adopted, so thats fabulous! The cat room finally has some floor space with less and less condos and extra cages taken out. Even some of our older residents have found new homes. read more
