Wednesdays are becoming quite the project day at the shelter. Floors scrubbed, cages pulled out, testing, evaluating, and the inevitable paper catch up. Its a good break from the normal routine and gives us that extra time to catch up. read more

This is the first day I don't feel a chill in the air. Its got that spring smell and feel. Henry and I might have to break out of hibernation and take a walk today. Its beautiful out there. read more

We have another beautiful Mom with kittens. Just arrived today. Didn't want to disturb her but it sure looks like she has a bundle. She seems calm enough to handle but we will let her settle down and then check them all out. I can't help but gush over babies. read more

The cat room has begun to empty out (comparitively speaking) and its wonderful to see the floor again. There has been a steady stream of adopters and quite a few adoptions of adult cats. Love the time before kitten season. read more

The pregnant Mom cat just wants attention. We thought she was too far gone to spay yet its been almost a week since she came to us. We will be checking her out tomorrow but in the meantime she is a real sweetheart and loves attention. read more
