Dancing With the Dogs

This is the first time that I have gone to the SSHS big fundraiser for the year. It was held at Villa deBruno in Lynwood and was a great night for all. The food was wonderful and everyone was so nice. We were seated at a table with some people that we didn't know that they were very friendly. We had just gotten back from vacation, had picked up the dogs from where we board them and let them out into the backyard. It was evening. Rosie flies off of the deck in a shot and Sam after her. Loyal Samwise

Sam is a great dog. He is such a calm laidback boy. He gets along with his sister Rosie quite well considering she bugs him a lot of the time. He loves Bill the cat but doesn't spend as much time playing with him as he did. When Bill first came into the family, he and Sam were inseparable, but once Rosie joined the household, that changed. Rosie has many names

My little terrier mix is such a character. She loves everyone and loves jumping up and giving kisses to our friends and family(specially on the lips). I have these walking buddies and we all walk around the park with the dogs. If someone new walks by, Rosie the greeter will be the first go up to that person and offer her welcome. If someone walks by with a dog she doesn't particularly like she will start barking and get the whole group of dogs barking. We call her Rosie the instigator. On… read more

poor Bill

Let me tell you about Bill. He is such a beautiful cat, but because he was abandoned at a tender age, he is still slightly jumpy. Sometimes he acts like any other cat, but mostly he avoids contact with people. Now he love the dogs and he love Barry and me but if he is lounging on the stairs( his fav) and you walk by unexpected like, he will run for shelter like the hounds of hell are nipping at feet.
