No we probably aren't going to win this contest, But our shelter is definatly a winner. We have found GOOD homes for so many cats and dogs, that might not be around otherwise. Dozer hasn't been able to play much for the last couple days since I had the flu. He also missed going to the shelter tonight. I know he really enjoys seeing and playing with all his buddies there. Some new kids come Saturday to the shelter, he'll be ready to meet them and have a good time in the mud pit. Might be a good time for him to take a ride… read more

I wasn't feeling too good last night and today. The only time I got up was to let Dozer out,feed him, and visit the bathroom. Dozer was so concerned about me. He never left my side and put his head on me so he could stare at me. He is such a good friend, how could anyone's life be complete without a companion? Dozer had a good time today with the warm weather we had. He ran around a lot, and even went into the water a bit. The only time he didn't seem to mind the cold was when his buddy Yogi was around. But the good news is that Yogi is in a good, safe place with a family that takes good care of him. I wish this for all shelter companions. read more
