We had another $100 donation come in, which raises the total for the event to a bit over $1,200. The fund raiser came at the right time, too. The shelter's refrigerator decided it was a good time to die, and the money was in hand to replace it immediately. It all came together, and we raised over $1,100 for the Outer Banks SPCA at our Pound-A-Thon. In spite of 3 celebrity no-shows, we managed to pull it off! Everyone had a lot of fun. read more

February 29th is the date of the very first Pound - A - Thon for the Outer Banks SPCA. We have invited some local celebrities to join us, and are selling "warrants".
