I have 3 children, 2 grandchildren and Foxy, our Pom. A rescue, Maggie, who lives with my mom, and Moses, a visiting turtle.. I LOVE THIS SITE!

We have had so many wonderful comments and responses to our plea to help Bobbi and the Strays. Amazing what happens when friends come together for a cause that means so much to us all.Love for animals stretches across the world and back again. Bobbi and the Strays, a non-profit animal shelter in New York, are in danger of losing their home in Dec. They are leasing a building which will be sold in December. It is going to cost approx. $1,000,000 to buy another shelter> These babies could be homeless in a matter of months if we don't help. We can do this! Any donation will do, even $1.00. Thought you'd find this interesting. Talk about animal intelligence and bonding with humans! Over the last year or so, we have noticed that a turtle will come from across the road, to our front yard. There is an area about a 1/4 of a mile behind our home, that has a pond. We think that he goes there for an extended stay. When we are lucky enough to see him crossing the street, to our yard, we watch for cars, so that he can cross safely..He is a free-spirit and doesn't stay long. The pics are kinda small.
