An offical member of the family!
The newest member of our zoo, Skittles, has been allowed to sleep in the bed with us much to my amazement. I was really worried how my dogs would adjust to a new kitten but they all, especially Sugar, have been so accepting of him! The past several mornings I have woke up and Skittles is in bed with us cuddling with Sugar and pouncing on me to wake me up. He still goes upstairs when it's bedtime to sleep with Connor but sometime during the night he makes his way to my room. The only draw back is… read more

I am protected from all the evil birds that come to our bird feeders. I am protected from all the bad frogs that hop around our yard. Skittles has been coming more and more out of his shell and has really been a joy to watch play. The dogs have been really sweet to him and have not at all been as aggressive as I thought they might be. Sugar and Skittles have become buddies and I think having a baby around has brought out Sugars motherly instincts. Sugar has never had puppies and has never really been around any animals smaller than she is (she is barely 7lbs) and she has enjoyed having the kitten around. They will lay together… read more
