An offical member of the family!
The newest member of our zoo, Skittles, has been allowed to sleep in the bed with us much to my amazement. I was really worried how my dogs would adjust to a new kitten but they all, especially Sugar, have been so accepting of him! The past several mornings I have woke up and Skittles is in bed with us cuddling with Sugar and pouncing on me to wake me up. He still goes upstairs when it's bedtime to sleep with Connor but sometime during the night he makes his way to my room. The only draw back is… read more

My mom and I were just talking the other day about Hurricane season and our plans if a storm headed our way. It looks like I jinxed myself! Tropical Storm Dolly is in the Gulf and people in Houston are already making plans and getting ready. I am protected from all the evil birds that come to our bird feeders. I am protected from all the bad frogs that hop around our yard.
