tractor supply company

i received a rather disturbing email today from a friend on my space. apparently, a manager with the tractor supply company in kentucky is a cat hater. he has been capturing cats at the store and taking them to the humane society to have them distroyed. at some point this past week, he caught a cat in the trap over night, and the cat was frozen to death in the morning when he checked the trap. I FOR ONE AM BOYCOTTING THE TRACTOR SUPPLY COMPANY UNTIL SOMETHING IS DONE TO THIS MORON! They claim th… read more

Snoopy II

I find beagles to be more fun in pairs, so when the opportunity presented itself for me to adopt a second beagle, I decided that I would give it a try. Having had 2 beagles before (snoopy & lucy) and knowing how much they loved to play together, sleep together and how closely bonded they were, I didnt see a problem with trying it again. I found Bobbi in the middle of the road as you enter our neighborhood. She was very sickly and I do believe, close to death. Appx. 4 weeks old, 1/4 pound at the time, conjuctuvutus & an upper respitory infection, she was weak and could not run very far. When I first saw her, I thought is was a young squirrel sitting in the middle of the road eating a nut or something. I slowed to allow it to get off the road, as it looked to be quite young. As I got closer to it, and it didnt run, I realized… read more

Chelsea

This is my pound puppy. She came into our lives when we lost our beloved bear dog. After bears sudden passing and a month of denying wanting another lab, we decided to check out the Humane Society on Grayson Road. On the first week, we didn't see any yellow labs at all. We had decided if we were to adopt a lab, it had to be yellow with a red nose. (like the bear) Our second visit to the shelter, we found Chelsea. She was sitting quietly in the kennel, but at the front of the cage. When we walked… read more
