Check-out the Butte Humane Society postings. The BHS is seeking help -- they will be housing & helping as many dogs as possible... It appears that some guy was "breeding" dogs; he got caught due to "dead dogs on his property." So far, all of the surrendered dogs are heartworm positive and most of the females are pregnant!
