Fluffy is Em's friend Tyler's hamster. Fluffy passed away last night and I got a frantic call from Ty's mom this morning when she discovered poor fluffy. It's hard when a pet passes. I think it's harder for a kid. Bad situation all around. read more

My friend was fostering four kittens from a shelter in Philly. They weren't healthy when she took them home. One passed away on Sunday night. She only had them four days but the loss is hitting her pretty hard. It doesn't take long to get attached to these little furballs. The other three are still struggling but they seem like fighters. read more

I need to mention Daisy the fish. She led a very happy life in a bowl on a shelf in my living room. She died last week and she is sorely missed. read more
