The 3 a.m. Wake Up Call

I was sleeping peacefully last night, until all of a sudden Kelsie just goes bananas. She's barking and growling and circling the bed like crazy. I don't mean a walking circle, I mean like lightening speed circling. This startles me, and I bolt up and bonk my head on the wall at the head of my bed. So here I am holding my very sore head and trying to calm her down. I look at the clock, and it's 2:58 a.m. I said, "For the love of mike, Kels, what's the deal?" I had just got that out o… read more

The Peanut Butter Sandwhich Incident

As some of you have seen the comments and know a little bit of this story, let me give you the full rundown of how it came to pass: Well, I had made myslef a peanut butter sandwhich, which I always share with Kelsie. I tear her off a few pieces, and she's usually satisfied with that. But this particular time, she wasn't. Well, while I went to get some coffee to compliment the last bite of my sandwhich, Kelsie climbed up on the couch and stole the last bit of my sandwhich that was on the plate o… read more

Kelsie, the CAT KISSER?!?!

This was TOO HILARIOUS, I was laughing so hard when I came in the door, my eyes were filled with tears! LOL I had just taken Kelsie out to go potty, and her "arch enemy", Abby, our neighbor's cat, was napping on the porch swing, as usual. Or so I thought he was her enemy. (YES I SAID HE, for Abby, it's a long story, almost like Victor, Victoria) Anywho, after Kelsie has browsed the yard and finally after 50 spins in a circle, went potty, she galloped up the steps, only to discover a s… read more

Betty has her number! LOL

Boy, Betty really hit the nail on the head, when she said in her comment on my last journal entry, that Kelsie was spoiled, rotten, and a diva! LOL She is all 3 of those things, and mischievous, too. ^_^ I wouldn't have her any other way, she bring a very lively energy and a ray of joy to the house. She's a little clown, who enjoys making people lauhg and smile. You can really tell that, when she does something and we laugh, she does it over and over again. Her aunts call her princess Puggy o… read more

She knows she's loved...

Kelsie's grandma & I were doing an activity out of a confidence builder book for women. While talking about the first step, which was "do you know you're loved". It explains what the activity is that goes with it, well the first part was to ask your activity partner if they knew they were loved,(how this is supposed to help I don't know) anywho, Kelsie's grandma asked me "Do you know you're loved?" just as she finnished asking me that, Kelsie who was sitting on my lap, a… read more
