Not long after PK established himself in our garage we started to all grow fond of each other. He slowly started to trust us and allow us close enough to pet him. Today I'll share about my garage kitty - PK. He's this guy who was literally starving. He would get into our garage and eat from the bag of cat food I had stored. He actually ate through the bag. Poor guy - it was last winter and I'd let him stay just because it was really cold and it was obvious he had no place to go.
