When you have a lot of pets, boarding becomes the impossible dream. You really have to have good friends or neighbors willing to come over and help care for your creatures - or just don't go anywhere. I bought my first Corgi, then 6 months later, my second. Both from the same breeder. After noticeable events occurred, we had each x-ray'd to determine they have severe dysplasia. Our shelter has been working with the local Petco in Concord, Cabarrus county, NC, and it has helped us get more adoptions for our cats and some dogs. The cats are housed there and we bring dogs up on the weekends. We are very thankful to have this relationship. And, they help us with Fundraisers in our attempt to build our own shelter. read more
