I was a bit concerned the first time the stepdaughter came for a visit with her dog, Samson. My worries were in vain, however. We introduced our 4 dogs to Samson by taking all of them on a walk together. No one was ugly to anyone else. Now, when they visit, Samson is like one of the family. read more

A few days ago, I saw Abigail and Belle Star wander over to the deadfall pile. They both stood there for about 2 or 3 minutes before moving on. I went over and looked, but couldn't see a thing that might interest a horse. I wonder what they were curious about! read more

Button is an outside cat. Since we've been having a lot of cold weather with some freezing temperatures, I've tried to provide cat carriers and cardboard boxes with towels and/or old rugs in them to give the outside cats a place to curl up and keep warm.
