On our morning walks, we usually walk down to the ravine. Since it has no water in it, the dogs usually enjoy walking in the sand. Sugar discovered she could lay down and stretch out and enjoy the cool sand on her tummy. read more

One of our housecats, Sophie, decided to accompany the group on the morning walk yesterday. Altogether, there was me, four dogs, and four cats. We walked the perimeter of the property, checking the fenceline as normal. To my surprise, Sophie kept up the whole way. read more

We had some old hay which became no good to feed the horses or even the neighbors' cattle, so we set it by the ravind. On our morning walk, Sugar discovered a smell and climbed on top of the round bale to check it out.
