This evening, after all my chores were done, I sat on the deck to my storeroom with one of my favorite cats, Heather, on my lap, and two of my dogs resting on the deck near me. Monday, December 15th, marked one month since I had to put my friend, Higgins, to sleep. I helped him fight a tumor on the right side of his face for 3 months.
