I do love fall with the changing colors of all the trees. The boys and I walked over 10 miles the past three days and enjoyed every minute. The weather is cooler and we have a nice breeze. Yesterday after taking the boys on a nice 4 mile walk in the park. I spent the afternoon preparing the side yard for fall. I spread about 20 bales of pine straw under the trees and all over the ground. I find it keeps the ground from getting so muddy after the rains. Last evening I was sitting in the bedroom reading--when I hear my husband from the other room-- groan loudly "Oh No! What have you got?". Went out early this morning with both the dogs. We hiked 6 miles in The Kennesaw National Battlefield Park. It is always nice to get out and enjoy the park. When we got home Desi--the black lab went for a quick swim with us in the pool. He loves water! Gave both the dogs a bath today and they look so handsome! read more
