Alley--Wish her well

My sweet cat Alley has to have surgery on Thursday to deal with some bladder tumors. She's only 8 so I hope everyone on zootoo will wish her well and send her good thoughts. A perfect day

Each shelter that gets visited by the zootoo makeover team knows how special it is. It is wonderful to have your shelter and all your great animals recognized by someone outside of the day-to-day operation. And it is great to have someone share in your wish for low cost/free spay/neuter clinics and to offer hope that maybe we can actual have that become a reality. Why do we deserve to win? Zootoo visit

We're hoping the weather is fine and lots of folks come out to welcome the zootoo team to MaxFund. From the otehr visits I am very excited about the energy this generates and the way the community learns more and more about what their options are for pet adoption and pet ownership. Zootoo Thoughts

Like many, I joined zootoo for the contest and the real desire to help out the shelter I started volunteering for last July. I'd participated in a few fund raising events and one specifically was working to doing something for the feral room. While close to $5000 was raised, it is so clear so muchmore is needed. Boots

Leap Day brought a new foster cat into my home. Boots was brought to Maxfund a year ago by a very sad owner who had to give him up after 16 years. Her granddaughter who had come to live with her was allergic. At that time she said he was 20. One of the Maxfund foster moms was in the shelter that day and took Boots home with her, so he didn't have to spend one night in the shelter.
