How do you convince someone to put your shelter in the top 10 when there are 20 to pick from. I assume that all these shelters are worthy and I'm sure some are more worthy than others. Usuall if Sid is on the couch with me, he sits at the opposite end. He slowly pushes me off the middle cushion so he can sprawl out. I didn't know what to do with my time now that I didn't need to get so many zootoo points to keep us in the top 20. The zootoo people are coming to Safe Haven today. We usually give Sid and Booker treats after the kids are in bed, usually a rawhide chew. I've noticed lately that when we come out of Taryn's room, Sid is all excited, dancing around and hyper. I've quit giving him treats until he can calm down some more. I don't mind an excited dog, but I don't want him to develop bad habits either. read more

Taryn's bed has rails since she's not quite two and a half and has a tendency to roll out of bed. Yesterday, Booker figured out how to get around the railing and onto her bed.
