Mofasa says hello

I've decided to use the journal here as a way to introduce some of the animals awaiting forever homes. First up is Mofasa. Mofasa is likely under a year old. He is a typical tabby cat, which means he is often over-looked. He's a good boy, always uses the litter box, plays nicely with other animals, and doesn't seem bothered by children. Tabbies and black cats

I'm curious why tabbies and black cats are always the last to be adopted. I understand that some people want a "unique" looking pet, and so go for a calico or a cat with splashes, spots, patches, etc. It's incredibly irritating to me to see some amazing cats passed over again and again just because of their coat color.
