Way to go HSOV!

I'm excited to see that our shelter continues to move up the list. It was about 45th or so when I started on ZooToo, and today it is at 18th! That is awesome, considering that the Parkersburg Humane Society is also in the top 20 (14th today!), so that the Mid-Ohio Valley has a 1-in-10 chance to win a shelter makeover if both shelters stay in the top 20. Cat and dog are getting along great!

I'm so thankful I found Smokey at the HSOV, he's been a wonderful addition to my pet family. My Border Collie Amy has finally accepted him, and they have a great time playing with each other. Smokey sneaks up behind Amy and taps her and takes off running, she chases him down the stairs to the basement or down the hall to a bedroom, where he hides. Just getting started

I sure hope the efforts here can help my shelter (hsov.org), but even if nothing comes out of it, it's good to see all the support. I'm a beginner volunteer at the shelter, but I hope to become much more involved in the future. read more
