First cat, thanks HSOV!

I recently started volunteering at the Marietta HSOV shelter, and on my first day there I was folding papers in the incoming room because the regular newspaper folding room is out in the receiving room and it was a very cold day out there (no heat in the receiving room). Anyhow, a cat was in one of the kennels behind me, and he was as calm as could be, with all the whining and barking and meowing going on all around. Just getting started

I sure hope the efforts here can help my shelter (hsov.org), but even if nothing comes out of it, it's good to see all the support. I'm a beginner volunteer at the shelter, but I hope to become much more involved in the future. read more
