We have a couple of trees on our property with mistletoe. Mistletoe is pretty and very handy at Christmas and oddly (since it is a parasite) it is the state flower of Oklahoma. Jesse wakes up in a new world every morning. He doesn't seem to care if it is raining or cold or warm. I do believe he likes the warm better though because "the girls" are out more then. He is such a happy go lucky pup. He is very sweet and wants attention but is not easily intimidated either. read more

Jesse has a green plastic ball that he likes. Since "the girls" are still not too friendly he plays with this ball alot but it gets away from him too. Off the porch and down to the pond they both roll. I'll try to get a video of that soon but it's too cold out there now. read more

We're getting algae on our pond but thankfully we found a new product Cutrine that is supposed to take care of it and it is safe for drinking water for people and animals and won't harm the fish. I'll let you know how it works. read more

We are resisting the urge to manicure everything. Our new home has plenty of room for us so we're trying to leave plenty of room for the critters.
